Dr. McCartney is the Director of Internal Medicine trials at ActivMed. He completed his residency at Roger Williams General Hospital & Medical Center in Providence Rhode Island in 1991. He was awarded membership to Tri-Beta National Science Honor Society, and received the Bausch & Lomb Science Award during his studies. He is board certified in Internal medicine in the states of Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He is a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society, the American Heart Association, and the American Diabetes Association. Dr. McCartney has been conducting clinical research trials since 1994.
