Blood Glucose Screening

A blood glucose test measures the glucose levels in your blood. Glucose is a type of sugar and is your body’s main source of energy. The test is used to find out if your blood sugar levels are in a healthy range.

Screening with a blood test can help determine if you have a high blood sugar level and possible diabetes. Low blood sugar levels can also be an issue and can lead to major health problems including brain damage, if not treated.

Memory Screening

It can indicate whether an additional check-up by a qualified healthcare professional is needed. The screening is composed of a series of questions and/or tasks that are designed to test memory, language skills, thinking ability, and other intellectual functions.

Memory screenings are just as crucial to your overall health as any other annual check-up. By having a free memory screening, you will know if you have any changes to your memory or if there may be an underlying issue that may need attention.

Pulmonary Screening

Pulmonary Screenings are non-invasive treatments that demonstrate how well lungs are working. The test measures lung volume, capacity, rates of flow, and gas exchange.

By measuring how much air you exhale, and how quickly you exhale, this screening can evaluate a broad range of any lung diseases found. These may include asthma, emphysema, and other chronic lung problems.

Depression Screening

The screening is a simple questionnaire used to assess if you are suffering from depression, and what resources might be available.

If left untreated depression can lead to serious consequences such as overwhelming sadness, loss of appetite, and thoughts of suicide. Millions of Americans suffer from some form of depression every year. Admitting that you need help is the first step to living a healthier life.
